How Vstorm supports Saudi Arabia Vision 2030?

A closer look at how Vstorm, the agentic AI engineering company based in Poland, is equipped to accelerate AI initiatives in Saudi Arabia’s government and private sectors

Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 has proven to be one of the most successful national transformations on record, having achieved 93% of its key performance indicators at the program's midpoint. The Kingdom has fundamentally restructured its economy, society, and international positioning while successfully maintaining political stability and cultural identity.

Saudi Arabia is now on the verge of achieving unprecedented economic transformation through AI with the commitment of over $100 billion through Project Transcendence, with early projections estimating $235.2 billion in contributions to GDP by 2030 (12.4% of total GDP). This substantial investment, if combined with comprehensive sectoral AI deployments and strategic global partnerships, can create a realistic pathway for the success of Vision 2030.

“I hereby invite all dreamers, innovators, investors and thinkers to join us, here in the Kingdom, to achieve our ambitions together and to build a pioneering model; to unlock the value of data and AI in order to build knowledge-based economies and advance our present and future generations,” – Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in calls for global collaboration to unlock benefits of AI for all

The stakes placed upon success are enormous: as the Kingdom stands to gain significant economic diversification, breaking their reliance on oil prices, while positioning the Kingdom as a global AI superpower by 2030. However, success depends on addressing talent pipeline gaps, accelerating private sector adoption beyond government initiatives, and maintaining cutting-edge global AI technologies.

The agentic AI engineering company Vstorm can help bridge these gaps and accelerate Saudi Arabia’s AI adoption by bringing in proven PhD level experts who can provide meaningful agentic project implementations through practiced and applied expertise at affordable price points.

Saudi Arabia’s AI powered 2030 transformation #

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has established itself as the world's most ambitious AI adopter, with 72% of companies already employing AI strategies ( Sharikat Mubashar) and 45,000+ professionals already trained in AI applications as the project reaches its midpoint ( Accenture). But this transformation represents more than just a technological upgrade, as it is a fundamental step in the full scale restructure of their oil-based economy towards a working knowledge-base.

NEOM, an arcology and planned city, often stated to be an opportunity of unprecedented scope for sustainable living, technological innovation and human progress, serves as a flagship of this transformation; providing a $500 billion testing ground for AI-powered cities.

While the Saudi Data and AI Authority, SDAIA, coordinates AI deployments across 200+ government systems, and whose ALLaM Arabic language models achieved #1 global ranking in Arabic MMLU benchmarks in September of 2024, with 34 billion parameters trained on 500 billion Arabic tokens with contribution from 160+ government agencies. The model remains a leading benchmark in Arabic language technology with more top performing models on the rise

The current status of the AI foundations the Kingdom has laid are of an unprecedented scale, with Saudi Arabia's AI infrastructure investment dwarfing comparable economies, creating a rich field for rapid transformation. Project Transcendence, announced November 2024, represents $100 billion in investments structured through the Public Investment Fund, focusing on data centers, AI startups, infrastructure, and talent recruitment.

This complements existing infrastructure, including recent $120 million investments in 3,000+ NVIDIA GPUs and the advancement of the Shaheen III supercomputer, with 35.66 petaflops capacity.

But these achievements have not come without hitting a few speed bumps along the way. The Shaheen III supercomputer was planned to be 20 times as powerful as its predecessor, but has proven to be only 6 times as powerful in practical conditions, showing a clear gap between vision and technical expertise. And as the divide between project goals and native technical capability widen, opportunities for partnerships with qualified resources abroad arise.

Challenges in implementation require greater expertise #

The development of Saudi Arabia’s internal talent pipeline represents the most critical challenge. While SDAIA has an aim to train 20,000 AI specialists by 2030, the program has only produced approximately 5,000 AI specialists up to the date. And while comprehensive education programs are geared to train fresh AI specialists from the ground up, there remains a need for qualified specialists now.

In interest of bridging the wide gap in expertise, Poland's 50,000+ qualified AI specialists, ranking first in Europe for advanced AI talent concentration, presents an opportunity for lucrative partnership. Poland stands as #1 in Europe and #4 globally in the concentration of advanced AI professionals, according to the 2024 European workforce analysis, positioning Poland ahead of traditional tech hubs like Germany, France, and the Netherlands in the realm of applied AI talent.

Vstorm is a Poland-based AI agent engineering company that transforms business operations with tailored RAG and Agentic automations that go beyond standard solutions, delivering proven ROI through practical, hands-on implementation. Our field expertise and project success have been recognized by EY, Deloitte and Forbes.

I do think of it as a workforce. This is a workforce that will conduct end-to-end processes, replacing many tasks being performed today by the human workforce. Jorge Amar, McKinsey Senior Partner, June 3 2025, on The future of work is agentic

Bridging the knowledge gap with proven AI talent #

Furthermore, a wide knowledge gap among local business decision-makers has led to poor AI project planning, contributing to 46% of private sector regional AI projects failing to meet objectives ( Al Jawad). This is compounded by internal financial constraints, which are reported to affect 74.46% of potential AI adopters in the private sector despite the substantial government investments ( Nature).

This is due to the fact that private sector AI adoption requires different support mechanisms than government initiatives, as the latter primarily focuses on large scale cooperation with major enterprise providers, such as Google, Amazon, and Nvidia, whose price points put them largely out of reach of private businesses.

Poland-based AI engineering company Vstorm can help fill this need, providing SMB-friendly pricing for enterprise grade solutions designed to turn cash positive within months, allowing mid-market competitors and enterprise clients alike to dramatically scale operations without the enterprise costs, all while maintaining complete ownership of code and data with zero lock-in contracts.

Vstorm leverages practiced and proven tactics to narrow the gap and achieve meaningful results. Our strategy begins with two locked blueprints. First comes the business blueprint, which ranks high-value use cases; and then follows the technical blueprint, which tests each potential use-case for feasibility, measuring complexity, data, integration, and compliance needs alongside setting realistic timelines, while determining required tools and any necessary up-skilling for the client’s internal team.

This blueprint allows us to build tailored AI agents that seamlessly integrate with existing workflows, data, and software stack.

Securing AI implementations that provide results #

But what makes Vstorm a reliable partner for Saudi Arabia’s 2030 AI transformation? According to market estimates presented by Rand, more than 80% of AI projects fail. That is double the rate of failure for information technology projects that do not involve AI.

With over 80% of attempted AI implementations failing outright, 87% of AI related projects never reaching production ( MIT Sloan Review), and 42% of companies choosing to cut their losses and abandon AI initiatives before delivery ( Fortune), there is a significant gap in common visions of AI’s potential applications and the technical reality which governs application.

Taking a deeper look at the numbers provided by MIT, we can see that specialist engineering companies like Vstorm dramatically outperform general software solution providers in AI implementations, achieving an industry average of 67% successful implementation rates compared to the estimated 22% success rate of general providers.
