LangChain docs
The LangChain documentation is the official set of guides and API reference, hosted at docs.langchain.com, that takes developers from “pip install” to production Large Language Model (LLM) applications. It is also where LangChain explains what the framework is and how its parts fit together, combining narrative guides, copy-paste code and auto-generated class docs for Python and TypeScript.
Quickstart shows how to build a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) chatbot in under 10 minutes. Modules covers loaders, embeddings, chains, agents, memory and callbacks, and Cookbook offers end-to-end notebooks on orchestration, streaming and multi-agent evaluation. A version selector switches between documentation versions, breaking changes are described in the release notes and migration guides, and search returns concept pages and code examples side by side.
Pages carry an edit link to their source on GitHub, so the community can propose fixes through pull requests, and part of the material is published as runnable notebooks. Questions and discussion happen on GitHub and the LangChain forum rather than on the documentation pages themselves. Short explanations next to working examples cut onboarding time and show the patterns teams use in production LLM pipelines.
